Working principles of Roots vacuum pumps
The root vacuum pump is a rotary volumetric vacuum device that is employed as a booster pump for several types of fore-pumps, to increase their pressure and pumping speed. Basically, the principle of operation of root pumps is corresponding to the system of the multi-stage pumps. It regulates by pumping a lubricant with a pair of incorporating lobes corresponding to a set of stretched gears however, it operates without contacting and sometimes without any sealing fluids like oil/water in the working chamber.
